Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you use this website or book any session, workshop or programme with You & I by Sonali Jain. By booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
Last updated: 19 August 2026
1. About these terms
These terms form the agreement between you and You & I by Sonali Jain (“we”, “us”), a sole practitioner offering meditation and mindfulness coaching. They apply to 1:1 sessions, group workshops, corporate programmes, and any digital material we provide alongside them.
2. Wellbeing disclaimer — please read this carefully
Meditation and mindfulness coaching are supportive wellbeing practices. They are not medical care, psychological therapy, counselling, or a diagnosis or treatment for any condition. Nothing said in a session, on this website, or in any material we provide should be taken as medical or psychological advice, and none of it is a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
- We are not a crisis service. If you are in distress or at risk of harm, contact a qualified mental health professional, your doctor, or a local emergency helpline.
- Do not stop, start or change any prescribed medication or treatment on the basis of anything discussed in a session. Speak to your doctor.
- If you are receiving treatment for a mental or physical health condition, please tell us before booking, and continue working with your treating professional. Meditation practices sit alongside that care; they do not replace it.
- Meditation can occasionally surface difficult emotions or memories. If that happens, tell us. We may pause the practice and recommend that you speak to an appropriate professional, and we may decline to continue where we believe coaching is not the right support for you.
You take part voluntarily and remain responsible for your own wellbeing and for any decision you make during or after a session.
3. Physical safety
Some sessions include gentle breathing techniques and simple postural guidance. If you have a respiratory condition, are pregnant, have high or low blood pressure, have had recent surgery, or have any injury or condition affecting your ability to sit or breathe deeply, please tell us before the session and consult your doctor. Never continue a practice that causes pain, dizziness or distress — stop and let us know.
4. Bookings
- A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a time and, where a fee applies, that fee has been received.
- Sessions run for the duration stated for that offering. Arriving late does not extend the session.
- Group workshops run with a minimum number of participants. If a workshop does not reach that number, we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund.
- Corporate programmes are arranged separately, and where a written scope or invoice is issued, that document takes precedence over these terms where the two conflict.
5. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
Cancellation windows, reschedules, no-shows and refunds are covered in full on our Refund Policy page, which forms part of these terms.
6. Fees and payment
- Fees are stated at the time of booking and are payable in Indian Rupees unless agreed otherwise.
- Where online payment is available, it is processed by a third-party payment provider on their own hosted checkout page. We do not receive or store your card or banking details.
- We may change our fees at any time, but a change never affects a booking already confirmed and paid for.
7. Your conduct in sessions
- Please arrive on time, in a quiet space where you can participate without interruption.
- Treat other participants in group sessions with respect. What others share in a group is to be kept confidential.
- Do not record, photograph or screenshot any session, or any other participant, without our prior written permission.
- Do not attend a session under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
- We may remove a participant from a session, without refund, for conduct that is abusive, disruptive or unsafe for others.
8. Online sessions
Online sessions are delivered over a third-party video platform. You are responsible for your own internet connection and device. If a session is materially disrupted by a failure on our side, we will reschedule it or refund it. We are not responsible for disruption caused by your own connection or equipment.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website and in our sessions — including recordings, guided audio, practice sheets, written guides, text, images and the You & I name — is owned by You & I by Sonali Jain and protected by copyright. Material shared with you is licensed for your own personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, publish, or teach from it, and you may not share access with anyone who has not booked.
10. Testimonials and your privacy
We will never publish your name, photograph, message or session content without your explicit permission. Where permission is given, we mask phone numbers and identifying details. You may withdraw that permission at any time and we will remove the material from this website.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any session, programme or use of this website is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the offering in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income or opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Website availability
We try to keep this website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or remove content at any time. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book is the version that applies to that booking.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [City], India. We would much rather resolve anything by talking first — please write to us before taking any formal step.
